(Senior) Data Architect

Your mission

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data & Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation for our clients. As a (Senior) Data Architect at Digital Innovation, you are part of our Enterprise Architecture team.

Key responsibilities include:

Evolving data standards and the evolution of the data architecture of our clients
Consulting and guiding Data Engineers and Scientists on how to build state-of-the-art data-driven solutions
Defining rules for data modelling, always exploring new Cloud solutions and architectures to improve and bring forward our and the environment of our clients
Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business consulting and experience with data architecture software solutions, as well as excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics, business administration or a related field of study
You have preferably 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, where you gathered strong experience in data-centric architectures/software development and/or IT Consulting
Modern tools such as machine learning, cyber resilience, DevOps, agile methods, AI, and robotics are not buzzwords for you, but the right tools for IT architecture
Strong knowledge of modern, distributed architectures for analytical data management like Data Mesh and/or the Microsoft Common Data Model
Good understanding of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
A broad knowledge of database systems (SQL and No-SQL)
Experience in device data log standards and IoT data streaming would be beneficial
Managing data migration and integration projects
Developing and maintaining data dictionaries and documentation
Identifying and mitigating data security risks
You have strong communication skills to easily navigate in corporate as well as “geeky/nerdy” environments
You bring extensive, technical expertise and an interest in technology trends to the team
You feel particularly comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts, and you are flexible and willing to travel for this purpose
You can confidently understand and communicate complex issues in German and English
